Hi stephentbrown,
if you created the account manually, you can delete it by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner.
However, if the account was added via a bank connection, you can only remove it by deleting the entire bank connection.
Best regards,
Dennis
@dennis_a Thank you Dennis. I have since worked that out myself and all now fine. I
am a very new user of Pro and understand that the link to banks is very
new, but absolutely essential to my mind, if the software is to have any
serious future use.
I realise from the public comments that you are a key person in the team
and so here privately my thoughts on future developments which are all
essential, in my view, if the software is to become a serious tool rather
than a 'fun' toy.
I see already that today version 25.0.4 has been launched, although it is
not obvious what the changes are.
I hope my thoughts are clear to understand:
1.DASHBOARD - Overall, looks good and visually appealing. It would be good
if (as the manual suggests) that selecting one account gives the dashboard
breakdown for that account and not the total for all. Also, I see the pie
chart for category breakdowns sums up all the transfers between accounts
(absolute values). This is pretty useless. Should not the total transfers
always equal zero in a closed system?
NULL. Is there a limit to the number and categories available?
category to be accepted and displayed.
Other thoughts?
a. It would be wonderful (using AI?) if similar repeating bank transactions
were flagged automatically by the software for budgeting and profile
purposes. What I mean is that rather than 'undefined' the category field is
filled with the best estimate.
b. What about clicking on a selected category and displaying past (and
future?) spending for this.
c. The program does not remember saved settings from session to session.
d. Presumably historical data previously downloaded from a bank is retained
and not lost? Uk banks only seem to upload 6 to 8 weeks worth of
transactions. Clearly, annual budgeting is not possible without retention
of data.
I hope you accept these as suggestions for improvements and not criticisms,
as I appreciate that the program is very clearly in development mode.
I am a longstanding user of aShampoo products and keen for this software to
be successful.
Yours
Stephen
